So nice that you will be taking our ID.3 for a ride! In this article you can find the four most important good-to-knows before you start your rental with the ID.3.
OPENING & CLOSING
The ID.3 does not have a key. You can open and close the car with the Hely app. Nice and easy!
Do you want to charge your phone? The car has a wireless charging dock and four usb-c ports.
ENDING THE CHARGING SESSION
Get the charging card out of the console and scan the card at the charging station to end the charging session and to unplug the charging cable. Don't forget to put the cable in the trunk of the car for charging sessions on the road.
Is the charging cable stuck? Don't worry, just press unlock! You can find the unlock button in the Hely app. The car will now release the charging cable.
STARTING
Ready to go? Nice! Press the brake and turn the gear knob to 'D' for drive or 'R' for reverse. The gear knob is located on the right behind the steering wheel.
Do you want to park? You can find the 'P' park button on the outer end of the gear knob. Press this button to put the car in park. There is no handbrake, the car activates the brake automatically.
STARTING THE CHARGING SESSION
Connect the car to the charging station with the chargingcable and scan the chargingcard to start the charging session. When the light at the charging dock of the car lights up green, the car is charging successfully.
